It has been reported on a Japanese site which is a close source to Apple that they would be unveiling a new product which could even be in a new category to compete against the upcoming Windows 8 due for release next year. The new device is set to be iPad-like having the iOS operating system instead of the new futuristic Mac OSX Lion. It has also been reported that Apple are going to downgrade the category of iPod's and get rid of the Shuffle and Nano as The iPod Nano has come to a dead end due to the most recent update that Apple done to the device last September by making the device smaller, removing the camera features etc.. This made alot of fans disappointed with the range of Nano's and have made the iPod touch more popular in recent years. (Note the picture above is a concept that we found.)
